“Client” refers to the individual or entity using our services.

2. Services Overview
Themis Mobile Notary & Apostille Services provides mobile notary services, apostille services, and remote online notarization (RON). We also offer document verification services for real estate transactions, legal documents, I-9 verification, and estate planning notarization.
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any services at any time, with or without notice, and will not be liable for any changes or interruptions.

3. Legal Disclaimer
Themis Mobile Notary & Apostille Services is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. None of our notaries are attorneys, and we cannot interpret legal documents, provide counsel, or offer recommendations regarding document completion or the advisability of signing a document. For any legal concerns, please consult an attorney.
By using our services, you acknowledge that our role is strictly limited to the notarization or certification of documents, and we will not be held responsible for any legal outcomes resulting from the use of these documents.

4. Client Responsibilities
Document Preparation: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all documents are completed and ready for notarization or certification before our appointment. We cannot provide advice on how to fill out any documents.
Valid Identification: All signers must provide a valid, government-issued identification to verify identity. Failure to provide proper identification will result in the refusal of services.
Timeliness: Clients are responsible for being punctual for any scheduled appointments. If you are late or unavailable at the agreed time, additional fees may apply for rescheduling.
Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information to us, including your contact details and any necessary documents for the services to be rendered.
5. Fees and Payment
Service Fees: The fees for our services are based on the type of notarization, document complexity, travel distance, and any additional services rendered (e.g., apostille services, travel fees for mobile notary services).
Payment Terms: Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, credit cards, and other methods as listed on our website.
Refunds: Once a notarization or apostille service has been completed, no refunds will be issued. If a service cannot be rendered due to the client’s failure to provide necessary documents or identification, cancellation fees may apply.
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We require at least 24 hour's notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment. Cancellations made with less notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. If our notary arrives at the appointment location and you are not available, additional travel fees may be applied for a rescheduled appointment.

7. Limitation of Liability
Themis Mobile Notary & Apostille Services is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of our services, including but not limited to lost profits, delays, or damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete documents. Our maximum liability, in any case, will not exceed the total fees paid for the specific service.
